The tone sets the melody: Easy Commands in Bisaya!

Here is a little collection of easy commands you may use during conversations. Here again, the tone sets the melody. If you say things the soft way, it sounds normal and inviting, while if you raise your voice and be firm in tone, it sounds insisting, angry or even taunting. So be watchful when using!

Come here!                    Dali diri!

Look! See!                     Tan-awa!

Listen!                            Paminaw!

Wait!                              Hulat!

Sit!                                 Lingkod!

Stand!                            Tindog!

Stop!                              Para! (can be used for drivers)

Run!                              Dagan!

Be silent!                       Hilom! / Paghilom bhe!

Enough!                         Tama na! (f.ex. if somebody is giving you food)

Lets go!                          Tara na!

Sleep!                             Tulog na!

(the 'na' emphasizes the now-moment)

Eat, Pray and Love... learning French in Davao!

If we think of France, we may wallow in the feeling of walking down the Avenue des Champs-Élysées, drink a warm café au lait near the l'Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile or imagining to climb up la Tour Eiffel, the Eiffel tower, and watch from far above the beauty of the city. Who would not like to see the secret smile of La Giaconda, the Mona Lisa, in the Louvre museum and taste some old Camembert with a little dry red wine. Yes, France and its culture has enchanted and charmed people ever since.

Or maybe, France (or one of its French territories) became for you a greener pasture, opening to you new work opportunities in your working field. Experiencing life as a employee in a vast society in one of Europe's stunning country.

Maybe France has cast a spell as well over you in some way... I understand, it is not that easy to pack your things, leave and go to France. But how about bringing France to you instead!

LEARN HOW TO EAT, PRAY AND LOVE... in FRENCH. Learn the language right here in Davao with experienced instructors.

Call UNIVERSITY OF SOUTHEASTERN PHILIPPINES to inquire about your French tutorial. The classes are from Basic up to Advanced. Each course consist of 20 hours. After finishing a course you will be given a certificate from the University of Southeastern Philippines for your personal purposes.
