First of all... Hello from Davao!

I have been living for a few years in Davao and enjoy it very much. The idea of my own news blog started with my parents who used to ask me very often 'What is happening now in Davao?' over the phone. So, I want to dedicate this news blog to all my folks abroad and all the other readers who appreciate updated news about Davao's culture, entertainment, their vivid economic growth, their business sector, their local politics, their places to eat and go to and updates on education and health issues concerning us, the Dabawenyos.

A first: Munich comes to Davao! Saturday, October 27 and Sunday 28, 2012!

Be there and witness the Oktoberfest 2012 - THE ORIGINAL in Apo View Hotel, Davao City with the BAVARIAN SOUND EXPRESS from Tegern Lake/Bavaria live on both evenings from 6 pm till 1 am. An event brought to you by the support of the German Club, Makati City.

What you will experience will be far beyond your imaginations: from dancing, "schunkeln", singing, laughing to indulging into the original German Oktoberfest food, beer and wine from the buffet - which is unlimited.
